Book One

One of the best books I’ve ever read. Jung’s approach to psychology, specifically his work on archetypes and the study of myth, served as a formative basis for the modern approach to storytelling as we know it, and his examination of what the self truly means for an individual in this book is nothing short of breathtaking and genuinely profound. A must-read.

Book Two

A jumbled mosaic of characters and plotlines centering around heroin addicts in mid-90s Scotland that stumble in and out of each other’s stories with equal amounts of breezy charm, fist-to-the-jaw impact, and surprising moments of clarity, thought, and sobriety. The book is mostly written in the Scots Dialect, which means it’s not the easiest book to get into, but it’s well worth the reward and adjustment once you do.
